Forklift Driver in Slough

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Driver to join our client’s busy warehouse team. This role involves a combination of forklift operation and general warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Picking and packing orders
• Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
• Assisting with warehouse organisation and stock rotation
• Handling breakdowns or issues with equipment in line with procedures
• Working closely with the warehouse team to meet deadlines

Qualifications

• Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance or Reach depending on role requirements)
• Previous experience in a warehouse or forklift driver role
• Ability to work both day and night shifts
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Awareness of health and safety procedures in a warehouse environment
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast‑paced setting

Benefits

• Standard pay rate: £12.21 per hour for both day and night shifts; after 12 weeks the pay rate increases to £14 per hour and overtime is paid at £17 per hour.
• Flexible shift pattern: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off.
