One of the world’s top 10 universities is looking for an expert in computational biology to join a newly established and growing team. The growing team is focussed on facilitating health research and its transformation into the medical field. Our client is a powerful unit, studying diseases and investigating the links between genes, disease and health.

Our client has just been awarded 14 million in funding for a number of major projects planned across the next 2 years and as such are looking for a professional with experience of bioinformatics; analysing and manipulating high quality ‘omics data. As Senior Bioinformatics Scientist, you will be responsible for managing a team of Bioinformaticians working directly with RNA sequencing, proteomics data and whole genome sequencing.

Key responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the refresh and continued development of the ‘omics pipeline
  • Oversee the smooth running of the ‘omics pipeline
  • Communicate with other internal and external stakeholders
  • Staff management
