Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager with experience of selling consumer electronics to join their growing team.

About our client:

Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of an array of consumer electronics products including phones, tablets, laptops etc. The business has a fantastic reputation within the industry and due to growth opportunities has created a new Sales Manager position within the business. Turning over c.60M and working with a number of leading retailers across the UK and Europe, the business is looking to grow aggressively over the next 5 years.

About the role:

The Sales Manager position will be an autonomous role, where you will be encouraged to proactively network across new and existing contacts within target retailers/etailers etc. The role will report directly to the MD and stand as one of the lead commercial roles within the business, forging relationships and acting as the face of the organisation. You will be responsible for growing the organisation's partner base and be commercially aware, able to spot potential opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the face of the organisation, including travelling internationally to represent the business at various trade shows and customer meetings
  • Direct and liaise with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Be able to proactively seek out new opportunities
  • Show commercial awareness

Experience Required:

The successful candidate is likely to currently be working as a Sales Director, Commercial Director, Head of Sales, Chief Sales Manager, Head of Business Development, Business Development Director, National Account Manager, Senior Sales Executive, Business Development Manager, Category Manager, Buyer or similar. You will have prior experience of selling/buying consumer electronics.
