Our client is a leading manufacturer of a range of hardware and communication equipment for use in multiple sectors (B2B) and are currently looking to hire a Managing Director to spearhead continued growth in the organisation.
You will be responsible for the Profit and Loss of a c. 50M business and 250 members of staff across multiple sites in UK and Europe. The role will be diverse, covering operational and commercial aspects within the business, people and process management and development. They are looking to hire a business leader who is comfortable and competent in Profit and Loss management, business planning, process development and staff development/reorganisation. This role will come with extensive autonomy to shape the business as you see fit. The business is part of a wider group and both short- and long-term incentives will be put in place.
Key Responsibilities:- Seek to understand the disciplines within the business and seek to drive and develop the business as you see fit
- Act as a business leader, reporting directly to the Board
- Be able to work in an autonomous manner and have experience of managing Profit and Loss (ideally within a manufacturing environment)
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a manufacturing organisation producing related products (electronics provided on a B2B basis). It would be particularly interesting if you can point to taking a business on a growth journey. Candidates with experience of working as a Managing Director, MD, General Manager, Business Line Manager, Head of Operations, Operations Director, COO, CEO, Sales Director or similar are invited to apply.
