About our client:
Our client is one of London’s leading passive fire contractors, working across a broad client base including commercial buildings, banks, hospitals, restaurants etc. The business has a turnover in the region of £15M, delivering projects ranging anywhere from £20K-£2M. The organisation has recently experienced further growth and due to recent wins, is now looking to add a Contracts Manager to their project management team.
About the role:
The Contracts Manager position will take responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of projects from site start-up to completion. There is a broad team of QS’ and Estimators that can back up various parts of the project, and the role will be responsible for managing all day-to-day site activities and liaising with the client. The role will report directly into the Head of Contracts and play a key role in continuing to grow the organisation's fantastic reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day site activity and acting as a key liaison for internal and external stakeholders
- Manage all site trades, both direct and sub-contract labour
- Be responsible for site budget
Experience Required:
You will have previous experience of delivering passive fire projects. Knowledge of relevant regulations and SMSTS card holding (or similar) are essential. You will have experience working as a Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Construction Manager, Passive Fire Contractor, Operations Manager, Site Manager or similar.
