Our client has an exciting opportunity for a CRM Full Stack Software Engineer to join the team.

Contract: Full-Time Contract (3–6 Months)

As part of a significant technology programme, they are seeking an experienced CRM Full-Stack Software Engineer to join the development team on an initial 3–6 month contract. This role will play a key part in enhancing and scaling a modern CRM platform, developing secure, high-performance applications that support business-critical operations whilst contributing to the continued evolution of the company's technology estate.

The Role

Working within an agile development environment, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining features across a modern full-stack CRM platform. You'll collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers and DevOps specialists to deliver scalable, secure and high-performing solutions using modern cloud technologies and microservices architecture. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced contractor who enjoys working on complex software engineering projects and wants to contribute to the delivery of a business-critical platform whilst working within a collaborative, forward-thinking engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain features across a modern CRM platform
  • Build scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
  • Develop responsive user interfaces using React and Next.js
  • Design, maintain and optimise PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases
  • Build secure RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Optimise application performance, scalability and reliability
  • Implement automated testing using TDD, Jest and Cypress
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, Design and DevOps teams
  • Participate in code reviews and engineering best practice
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and Docker deployments
  • Contribute to cloud-based infrastructure and distributed services

You

  • Commercial experience with TypeScript, Node.js and React
  • Experience with Next.js and modern frontend development
  • Strong REST API and microservices experience
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB
  • Experience with Docker, CI/CD and cloud platforms (AWS desirable)
  • Experience of Agile software development
  • Knowledge of Jest, Cypress and Test-Driven Development
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Passion for developing scalable, maintainable software
