A prestigious opportunity has arisen for a Chief Security Officer (CSO) within our Client. The selected candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing the overall security strategy of the organisation, protecting our assets, employees, and business operations from security threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic security protocols and procedures to mitigate risks, ensure physical safety, information security, and business continuity.
- Lead the internal Security team, offering mentorship and guidance, whilst coordinating with external security agencies as required.
- Oversee the management of security incidents and investigations, ensuring an effective response to any security breaches.
- Remain abreast of security trends and regulatory changes that may impact the organisation, adapting strategies as necessary.
- Communicate security strategies and protocols effectively to stakeholders across all levels of the organisation, promoting a culture of security awareness.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a senior security leadership role, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of both physical and information security frameworks.
- Strong leadership skills with an ability to inspire confidence and build a high-performing security team.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and decision-making skills.
- Higher education in Security Management, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- Professional security certifications are highly regarded.
