Following a sustained period of success, the organisation is now entering an exciting new phase of growth and is looking to appoint a commercially driven Sales & Marketing Director to lead business development, drive revenue growth and shape the future commercial strategy of the business.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious commercial leader to join an established, values-led organisation with an exceptional reputation and significant growth potential. Reporting to the shareholders, you will take ownership of the company's sales, marketing and business development strategy, identifying new commercial opportunities across schools, Multi-Academy Trusts, colleges, Local Authorities and employer networks. Working alongside an experienced operational leadership team, your primary focus will be expanding the organisation's market presence, strengthening customer relationships and driving sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver the company's sales, marketing and business development strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets.
  • Build strong relationships with schools, colleges, Multi-Academy Trusts, Local Authorities, employers and strategic partners to generate new business opportunities.
  • Identify and develop new products, services and revenue streams.
  • Lead marketing activity, employer engagement initiatives and commercial campaigns to increase brand awareness and market share.
  • Use technology, innovation & AI to improve customer engagement, business efficiency & commercial performance.

You:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience selling services into schools, colleges, Multi-Academy Trusts or Local Authorities with an established network of contacts across the education sector.
  • Proven success in a senior sales, business development or commercial role within a service-based organisation.
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering sustained revenue growth through new business acquisition, account development and strategic relationship management.
  • Experience in leading, coaching and developing a high performing team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills with the credibility to engage senior decision-makers across education and the public sector.
