About Us: We are a well-established freight forwarding company specialising in logistics, e-commerce and warehousing. We manage freight from around the world by road and rail, through the air and across the oceans. The Role: You will join our fast-growing Road Freight or Ocean Freight export departments, working closely with customers to manage all aspects of their exports. This varied role involves issuing quotes, arranging shipments, managing customs clearance processes and ensuring customers receive their shipments on time. You will build close working relationships with customers, overseas partners and internal teams, making excellent communication skills essential. Continuous support and training will help you develop your knowledge and grow your career with us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Issue quotes and arrange shipments for road and ocean freight customers
- Manage the customs clearance process from start to finish
- Coordinate with customers, overseas partners and internal teams to ensure timely delivery
- Monitor shipments and resolve any issues that arise
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication
You:
- Experience working in a customer service environment, either face to face or over the phone
- Prior experience in Road Freight, Ocean Freight and/or Exports with hands-on shipment management or coordination
- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Strong computer skills and ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
- Right to work in the UK (we are not able to sponsor work permits)
