Are you looking to work for a business which values service and quality above all else? If so, our client has an exciting opportunity for a Production Director to urgently join the team.

This client is a leading manufacturer of metal products, they have a long history and are financially secure. They are now looking to hire a Production Director to manage manufacturing whilst also being the face of the organisation. This a 12M business with 150 members of staff and reports directly to the board. The role will be diverse, covering everything from liaising with clients to creating operational efficiencies. This role will come with extensive autonomy to shape the manufacturing operations as you see fit. The business is part of a wider group of manufacturing businesses and there is plenty of room for future progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure productivity and quality are the heart of day-to-day operations
  • Creating an engaging work environment all the way down to the shop floor
  • Delivering the production plan whilst keeping a close eye on costs

Experience required:

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a manufacturing organisation producing related products (metals, machinery, components). You will need to demonstrate experience of driving growth and delivering efficiencies within a similar environment. Candidates with experience of working as a General Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Production Manager, Works Manager, Head of Production or Head of Manufacturing are encouraged to apply.
