Our client is seeking a dedicated electrical professional to join their team as a Street Lighting Engineer in the Glasgow area. The Role:

As a Street Lighting Engineer, you will play a key role in the maintenance, installation, and repair of street lighting and associated electrical systems. Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out the installation, maintenance, and repair of street lighting, illuminated signs, and electrical street furniture
  • Ensure compliance with IEE Wiring Regulations and electrical industry Health & Safety standards
  • Conduct fault diagnosis, testing, and inspections on electrical systems
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors to deliver high-quality services
  • Keep accurate records of work completed and ensure all documentation is up to date

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of an Electrical Apprenticeship
  • A recognised Electrical Industry Health & Safety qualification
  • Up-to-date knowledge of IEE Regulations
  • A strong understanding of electrical systems and maintenance procedures
  • A proactive approach and excellent problem-solving skills
  • A full UK driving licence
