Our client is looking for a Fractional Financial Controller to join the team.

Location: Heathrow Airport

Salary: Competitive Day Rate

Job Type: Fractional Contract, Approximately 2 Days Per Month

Duration: Initial 6-Month Engagement

The business is now seeking an experienced Fractional Financial Controller to provide both operational finance support and strategic guidance during this transition period.

Fractional Financial Controller – The Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to work closely with senior leadership in a hands-on and advisory capacity. The role will involve supporting the monthly management accounts process whilst also leading recommendations and improvements around finance systems, reporting capability, and operational efficiencies. Fractional Financial Controller – Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation and review of monthly management accounts
  • Improve finance reporting accuracy and efficiency
  • Assess current accounting systems and finance processes

  • Strong SME finance background, ideally within logistics, freight, distribution, or operational businesses
  • Experience delivering finance transformation and systems implementation projects
  • Commercially astute with a practical, hands-on approach
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Comfortable operating autonomously within a part-time/fractional role
  • Ability to quickly assess business needs and implement effective solutions
