About Ellevate

Ellevate is a female led fitness and wellbeing brand helping women build strength, confidence and sustainable routines through personal training, online coaching, classes and community experiences. We also work with men, couples, children and families. Our approach is built around:

  • Education over restriction
  • Community over comparison

The Role

We are looking for a warm, reliable and proactive Personal Trainer to join the Ellevate team. This is a mobile role with no fixed base gym. You may coach clients at EmpoweredFIT, residential gyms, partner venues, group classes, community settings or online through the Ellevate app. You will deliver high quality coaching, support clients between sessions and contribute to the wider Ellevate community. This role is ideal for someone who wants to focus on coaching and client relationships without the pressure of running their own PT business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1:1, paired and small group sessions
  • Travel between Ellevate client and partner locations
  • Complete client set ups, programmes, check ins and progress reviews
  • Respond to client messages and provide support between sessions
  • Build strong, friendly and professional client relationships
  • Deliver inclusive sessions that challenge clients without intimidating them
  • Keep client records accurate and up to date
  • Communicate schedule changes, concerns or client issues promptly
  • Contribute to Ellevate social media and community events
  • Complete agreed actions and responsibilities without repeated reminders

What We Are Looking For

  • Level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification, or currently completing Level 3
  • Warm, approachable and confident with clients
  • Reliable, organised and responsive
  • Proactive and willing to take ownership
  • Open to feedback and professional development
  • Able to travel reliably across Liverpool
  • Available for some early morning, evening or weekend sessions
  • Comfortable working within the Ellevate brand rather than building a separate business
  • Experience coaching women, beginners, children, families or neurodivergent clients would be beneficial but is not essential.

Why Join Ellevate?

  • No fixed base gym
  • Mentoring and professional development
  • Access to Ellevate coaching systems and resources
  • Support with client opportunities
  • Branded clothing
  • Opportunity to increase your hours as Ellevate grows
  • The chance to become part of a supportive, female led coaching brand

How to prepare for a job interview at Ellevate

Showcase Your Coaching Skills

Since you’re applying for a part-time role in fitness and personal training, be prepared to demonstrate your coaching abilities. This might involve a practical assessment where they'll ask you to conduct a mini training session or walk them through a workout, so brush up on your cues and motivational techniques!

Know Your Fitness Tech

Be ready to discuss the fitness technology and tools you're familiar with, like apps for tracking workouts or nutrition. Highlight Your Availability and Flexibility
