An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new post within our busy Respite service, providing Short Breaks and Respite Support for children with life‑limiting and life‑threatening conditions and their families.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic individuals, with respite/community care experience to coordinate and supervise the respite care being delivered in families' own homes. The role encompasses respite assessments, reviews and liaison with budget holders, as well as supervision and teaching of other team members to ensure the highest possible standards of care are delivered.

You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a sound knowledge of respite care and a relevant qualification in children's nursing or care. The service operates over 7 days and in the evening, so a flexible adaptable approach is required. Full time preferred but part time will be considered.

Qualifications: Relevant qualification in children's nursing or care and respite/community care experience.
