This is an exciting opportunity to join Team ellenor for a 12 month fixed term contract as a Senior Individual Giving Officer. You’ll build strong relationships within the community we serve, be a collaborative team player, and contribute to growing and developing ellenor’s Individual Giving programme.
Working closely with the Individual Giving Manager, you’ll lead several key fundraising direct marketing campaigns, working collaboratively with people across the organisation to deliver strong results, and continually test, learn, and grow our fundraising programme. ellenor is a hospice charity in Gravesend providing palliative and end-of-life care within the local community. Key Responsibilities of the role include:
- Lead donor recruitment and development marketing campaigns across multiple channels (including print, phone and digital), aligned with strategy, budget, and deadlines to maximise income
- Assist the Individual Giving Manager in planning and delivering the annual programme, including project plans, budgets, and programme recommendations
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers, from brief to final delivery
- Monitor and report on campaign KPIs to guide planning and improve results, regularly testing and evaluating
- Deliver exceptional supporter experience through stewardship communications and one-on-one interactions with supporters
- Set and track KPIs, using data to apply insights and optimise performance
- Line manage the Individual Giving Officer, providing direction, objectives, and regular reviews
Essential requirements of the role include:
- Demonstrable experience in fundraising and/or project management
- Experience in devising and implementing campaigns, direct marketing copy and producing high-quality, successful marketing materials
- Proven experience in using insight to inform decisions and optimising campaigns by testing, evaluating, and learning.
- Experience or interest in line management and leadership responsibilities
- Experience managing and maintaining accurate data or customer records.
- Familiarity with data protection legislation and GDPR compliance in relation to personal data
