The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

This position is primarily Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, including bank holidays. There may be occasional 24/7 on-call duties to provide end-of-life care at home.

We are seeking a skilled, compassionate Registered Children’s Nurse with experience in community nursing, oncology, complex care, and children’s palliative care to join our dedicated children’s community palliative care team., * First Level Registered Children’s Nurse with at least 2 years experience in Palliative Care, Oncology or a related specialty

  • Administration of intravenous medications qualification, preferably with experience in the use of CVADs

  • A full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle

  • Experience working proactively within a multi-disciplinary team

  • Ability to empathise with families and communicate sensitively and compassionately., Disability Confident

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Advocating for and empowering families to manage their child’s condition

  • Education of parents, professionals and care providers

  • Delivery of acute oncology care in the community, including use of CVADs

  • Excellent multi-disciplinary working that is centred around the needs of the family

  • Holistic nursing assessment and management of a patient caseload
