Good standard of general education (GCSEs or equivalent in English and maths).
Experience working with children and young people with SEN, including autism, SEMH, and/or learning difficulties.
Experience supporting sensory and communication needs.
Experience of positive behaviour management.
Experience supporting differentiated planning and the delivery of interventions.
Ability to adapt resources and teaching methods to meet individual needs.
Good understanding of SEN strategies and approaches.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build effective relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
Good organisational and record keeping skills.
Understanding of safeguarding and equal opportunities procedures and responsibilities.
