Logistics Administrator in Chester

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to support our Chester office. This temporary role will last until the end of the year, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Goods Handling: Follow Goods Receipt and Dispatch procedures, ensuring compliance.
• Documentation: Accurately scan, record, and save paperwork in the Goods Handling folders.
• Data Management: Maintain a complete Goods Handling spreadsheet for traceability.
• ERP Utilization: Receive purchase orders and ship sales orders using Business Central.
• Courier Coordination: Manage national and international shipments through approved courier systems.
• Job Assignment: Coordinate tasks for the in-house calibration technician via FSM.
• Packing: Safely photograph and package items prior to shipment.
• Shipment Tracking: Monitor and track each shipment until delivery.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Team, Calibration Technician, and Quality Administrator to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Post Management: Record and notify relevant recipients of incoming mail.
• Meeting Participation: Attend daily huddles and cross-departmental meetings.
• Work Area Maintenance: Keep the Goods Handling area organized and tidy.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong organizational skills and computer/excel skills.
• Experience with logistics and international shipping experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous logistics or administrative experience
