At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Document Controller.

The Document Controller will play a critical role in managing, organising, and maintaining the flow of information and documentation throughout the company's projects and operations. This position requires a proactive individual who can ensure the accuracy, security, and accessibility of important documents, facilitating smooth communication across departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of document control processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain all project documentation ensuring accuracy and proper version control.
  • Implement and enforce document control procedures and policies in compliance with organizational standards.
  • Coordinate the distribution and retrieval of documents among project teams and external parties.
  • Maintain document registers and tracking systems to monitor document status and approvals.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive documents and data.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of reports, manuals, and other documentation as required.
  • Facilitate audits of document management processes and provide necessary documentation support.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller or similar administrative role.
  • Strong knowledge of document management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using computer software such as MS Office and document management platforms.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with various departments and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
