At Elk Recruitment, we are looking to speak to Façade Designers at all levels for some of Ireland's top companies across the island of Ireland. Would you like to know more? Call Gary today at (phone number removed) Your new role includes: * Façade Design Development: Create innovative, functional, and sustainable façade designs that align with architecture. * Material Selection & Detailing: Research and select appropriate materials for façade systems. * Technical Drawings: Produce detailed façade drawings, including elevations, sections, and 3D visualizations, using software such as AutoCAD, etc. * Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate façade design. * Compliance & Regulations: Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, sustainability certifications, and environmental regulations. * Site Visits & Coordination: Attend site visits to assess the construction process, and ensure design integrity is maintained. * For Junior Designers: Assist senior façade designers in the development of designs, creating technical drawings, conducting material research, and participating in design presentations. * For Experienced Designers: Lead façade design projects, mentor junior designers, manage client interactions, and ensure designs are delivered on time and within budget. Experience you need: * A degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field prefable. * Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD or similar. * Strong understanding of façade systems, materials, and detailing. * Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and environmental standards * Strong understanding of sustainability and environmental impact in façade design. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact effectively with clients and contractors.
