- Why this role matters
Organic Social is a primary driver of brand affinity, community engagement, and sustainable growth. As
Social Media Executive
, you'll take full ownership of day-to-day execution across our social channels (currently Instagram and Tik Tok), sitting at the heart of how ES shows up daily online.
Reporting to the Social & Influencer Manager, you'll work closely with the Influencer & Community Executive, and collaborate with the Brand and Creative teams, to bring campaigns, community, and platform-native content to life across every channel.
If you're a genuine "Swiss Army knife" - ideas-led, hands‑on, and excited to own the calendar end-to-end rather than wait for direction, this role is for you:
- Real ownership and responsibility across Instagram and Tik Tok - not a "support only" role
- Exposure to the full social engine: organic content, community, influencer collaboration, and event content
- Clear progression toward Senior Social Executive or Social Media Manager
- A collaborative team that values quality, autonomy, and learning
This role is best suited to someone with solid platform execution experience for a brand who wants to deepen their content, community, and channel-growth skills before stepping into a Senior Executive or Manager role.
- What you will be doing
- 1. Own Social Channel Execution End-to-End
Take ownership of content planning, creation, scheduling, and publishing across Instagram and Tik Tok to ensure ES has a steady flow of fresh, relevant, platform-native content on each.
- Support the execution of the Organic Social strategy on Instagram in collaboration with the Social & Influencer Manager
- Manage feed, reels, stories, and highlights to ensure a cohesive brand presence on each platform
- Maintain consistent posting cadence, aligned with campaign priorities
- Stay ahead of trends, formats, features and emerging platforms, adapting content to what performs natively on each
- Proactively pitch new content ideas and even new channels (e. g. Pinterest) with a test-and-learn approach, rather than waiting to be asked
You’ll be a key creative contributor within the Social Squad, stepping in as a hands‑on executor and creative contributor.
- Manage the organic social content calendar and ensure alignment with wider marketing campaigns
- Translate campaign messaging into platform‑first storytelling, tailored to how each channel's audience actually consumes content
- Ensure a strong content mix across product, lifestyle, education, and community content on every channel
- Coordinate content from shoots, influencers, and UGC into a structured, cross-platform posting plan
- Brief channel‑specific content needs for social shoots & our in‑house creative team
- Ensure all content is reviewed and scheduled in line with the agreed plan before going live
Work closely with the Influencer & Community Executive to amplify UGC and creator content, keeping every channel rooted in real community conversation.
- Identify opportunities to re‑share community content across stories and feed
- Support engagement initiatives such as polls, Q&As, and interactive formats
- Adapt content between platforms, e. g. reshaping influencer or shoot content for Instagram, and editing it natively for Tik Tok
- Ensure every channel reflects community conversations and brand values
- 4. Performance Monitoring & Optimisation
Track performance across channels, using insight to continuously sharpen what we make and where we put it.
- Share weekly insights and recommendations
- Identify high‑performing content themes and formats, and where they should be prioritised
- Support monthly reporting and optimisation planning
- Feed insights back to help continuously shape the wider content strategy with the Social Media & Influencer Manager
