This role is the essential supporting link between our customers and our operations team, ensuring smooth ecommerce and wholesale trade fulfilment across the UK, EU and USA. You'll be the go-to person for order accuracy and operational excellence - making sure every customer receives their Elizabeth Scarlett products on time and in perfect condition. What you will be doing:
- Monitor Direct to Consumer (DTC) orders across sales channels (Shopify, marketplaces, etc.), supporting the Senior Ecommerce Operations Manager to ensure accurate and timely fulfilment.
- Support with Wholesale Trade Operations Manager and Wholesale Operations Executive with order management including order entry, stock assignment, order-monitoring and feedback of issues and solutions to our Sales & Partnership Team.
- Triage and support resolution of order issues - including shortages, shipping delays, mis-picks, damaged goods, and lost packages, feedback to customer service or 3PL to resolve issues and keep the customers informed.
- Coordinate with warehouse/3PL partners to ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched on schedule, and at our brand quality standards.
- Support the DTC Teams and 3PL to ensure all customer returns, exchanges, and refunds are processed on time across both 3PL locations in accordance with company policy.
- Check error logs daily to ensure all orders are correctly synced from our website platform to our ERP (NetSuite) and 3PL WMS (Minstsoft), investigating and resolving any sync failures promptly.
- Provide comprehensive daily fulfilment updates to the team, highlighting at-risk orders, delays, stock issues, or priority shipments requiring attention.
- Support stock transfers between 3PL locations/bins, helping to ensure inventory is optimally distributed to meet demand.
- Support investigation and resolution of stock integrity queries.
- Support inbound shipments, ensuring inventory is correctly putaway, and helping to resolve any issues with stock or labelling.
- Support packaging levels and ordering.
- Attend regular operations meetings to ensure seamless communication and alignment on priorities and action items.
- Maintain accurate operational records and provide general administrative support to enable the team to focus on growth activities.
- Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operational workflows.
Who we are looking for:
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in ecommerce or wholesale trade operations; supply chain planning; or logistics.
- Experience in a goods industry supply chain, within any category.
- Experience managing order workflows from processing through to dispatch, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Hands-on experience with ecommerce, order, inventory management, WMS systems or similar business platforms (eg. Shopify, NetSuite, Mintsoft, Shiphero…)
Must-have skills:
- Exceptional organisational skills with ability to manage multiple work tasks simultaneously across different channels, delivery dates, and priorities.
- Meticulous attention to detail — you catch discrepancies before they become problems and take pride in error-free work.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for order tracking, reporting, and data management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to build rapport with both internal teams and external partners.
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to identify issues early and take ownership to resolve them.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy periods (e.g. product launches, sales events) while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Nice-to-have skills:
- Knowledge of 3PL operations and shipping logistics.
- Experience in fashion, accessories, lifestyle, or consumer goods sectors.
- Experience using prompts in generative AI tools (eg Claude / Chat GPT) to complete your work efficiently without devolving decision-making.
