We are working with a highly regarded, independent agency who are looking to hire a Senior Research Manager. Their work has been at the forefront of policy particularly in the fields of Education and Skills, Wellbeing and Sport and Physical Activity. Inclusive research is a key area for them, improving equality of opportunity for young people and adults. Their current portfolio includes evaluations for DLUHC, DfE, Sport England, DCMS and more. Most of their work is mixed methods, so we are looking for applicants with a good understanding of the fundamental principles of quantitative and qualitative research. Their varied portfolio ranges from quick turn-around projects to multi-year longitudinal projects.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing quant and qual research methods i.e. Surveys, depth interviews, focus groups, literature reviews.
- Ensuring successful delivery of a portfolio of research and evaluation projects.
- Client management.
- Line management.
What we are looking for:
- Full service research experience from a research agency.
- Social research skills in both quantitative and qualitative research.
- Experienced in managing evaluation projects.
- Knowledge on at least one of their core policy areas; (wellbeing, sport, physical activity, education, employment, skills).
Salary and benefits:
- Base Salary: Β£41,000 β Β£51,000 dependent on experience.
- Annual bonus (company performance based).
- 10% Employer Pension Contribution, Health Plan, 25 days annual leave + more benefits.
- Truly flexible working options β open to 1 day a month in the office minimum for those living further afield.
- Offices are based in Leicester and would prefer more frequent travel if possible for team collaboration.
