Research Manager | B2B & Brand Strategy Research
London – hybrid, 3 days a week in the office.
£38-50k + excellent benefits
2 Stage interview process.
THE COMPANY:
They’re a Brand Management Consultancy bridging the gap between marketing and finance. They provide value-based assessments helping their clients with their brand-related decisions. The Consultancy focuses on three areas: brand research, brand valuation and brand strategy.
Brand research plays an instrumental part in brand valuation and brand strategy but also is a stand-alone business of providing clients with market understanding and insight they need to fulfil their goals.
They have offices in 20 countries with the headquarters in London. The UK team is around 50 people in total and their clients are world-known brands in various sectors, from FMCG to luxury goods, to major sports events and entertainment.
THE ROLE:
On the market research side, the work comes off the back of the relationships they have in the brand valuation space, plus they have some standalone research clients. Clients ask them to run ad hoc research for clients which can be anything from segmentation to pricing to NPD to brand and comms research – they do quite a bit of brand research too, about 30% is brand equity studies.
Working collaboratively with the Research team and individual Strategy and Valuation teams, but with a high degree of day-to-day autonomy, you will manage multiple projects simultaneously, playing a key role in client relationships and help to ensure delivery excellence for all of our research and insight outputs.
You will be expected to help contribute to identifying appropriate methods and analysis for each problem at hand with senior support, managing the day-to-day execution of projects, and managing upwards.
SKILLS:
- 3+ years of market research experience.
- Strong practical quantitative research experience including designing and managing research studies from proposal to presentation – qualitative experience is desirable, but on-the-job training is available.
- Excellent people skills and client-oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical skills and a good eye for detail.
If the role sounds of interest, please hit apply. Even if you feel you don’t tick all of the boxes or are just intrigued enough, please send in an application.
