Research Director – Impact and Economic Evaluation

Location: London

Salary: GBP 80,000 – 100,000

Work Arrangement: London hybrid, ideally 1-2 days a week in office but flexibility here. Full time / part time options, core hours and flexible working. Β£65,000 – Β£80,000 FTE base salary. Annual bonus, 28 days annual leave, 12% employer pension contribution, private healthcare.

Evaluation Director Role:
This role is with an independent agency that is very stable and has brilliant people and internal initiatives. The evaluation side of the business is growing rapidly, and this role will work closely with them on delivering statistical impact analysis, theory-driven evaluation, and value-for-money assessments. It’s a full-service research role with significant scope for influence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a company expert in economic and impact evaluation. Lead and develop internal evaluation expertise.
  • Lead economic evaluations.
  • New business development and growing existing accounts.
  • Team development – grow an economic evaluation team. Shape your team and offering long term.
  • Present research findings to clients, policy makers, and other stakeholders. Provide strategic insight.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in econometrics, UK-based social market research, and policy evaluation. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a passion for using data to drive social impact.
