As part of their continued expansion, they’re looking to hire a Research Manager with a passion for the future of mobility – from EVs and autonomous tech to shifting consumer behaviours.
The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualitative‑led insight professional to step into a highly strategic role. You’ll lead projects that go far beyond traditional research delivery – shaping hypotheses, designing methodologies and turning complex human behaviour into clear, actionable insight that influences senior decision‑making. You’ll primarily work on qualitative studies (depths, ethnography, groups, co‑creation, online communities), often integrating quant or analytics where it strengthens the narrative.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end delivery of qualitative and mixed‑methods projects
- Design research approaches and contribute to proposals
- Lead fieldwork, including moderating groups and depths and facilitating co‑creation sessions
- Synthesise findings into compelling, strategic narratives and recommendations
- Present insights to senior stakeholders and support client relationship growth
- Contribute to pitches, credentials and client development
- Play a role in shaping the consultancy’s evolving offer within automotive and future mobility
About You
- Experience in a research, insight, strategy or planning role (agency or consultancy)
- Strong qualitative research expertise, from design through to debrief
- Exposure to mixed methods and an interest in developing this further
- A genuine curiosity about the future of the automotive industry and evolving consumer behaviour
- A strategic mindset, focused on delivering the “so what” and “now what”
