We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a customer-focused Entry Level IT Support professional to provide ongoing temporary cover while they recruit for a permanent IT Technician. This is a hands-on, first-line support role, ideal for someone at the beginning of their IT career who enjoys supporting others and resolving technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing first line IT support, including password resets and basic troubleshooting
- Logging, tracking and escalating technical issues to second and third line support
- Delivering excellent customer service to internal users
- Shipping and receiving IT equipment
- Updating and maintaining the IT asset register
- Assisting with general IT administration tasks
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Possess a basic understanding of IT systems (e.g. Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware setup)
- Be organised and methodical with good attention to detail
- Communicate confidently with users at all levels
- Be eager to develop a long-term career within IT
