We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy organisation in Nottingham on a temporary basis for approximately 6–8 weeks, with an immediate start available. This is a hands-on role supporting managers and employees across a range of HR matters, from routine employee relations cases through to more complex disciplinary and grievance issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a varied HR caseload
- Supporting maternity, paternity and other family leave processes
- Advising managers on absence management and employee relations matters
- Handling disciplinary, grievance and performance management cases
- Providing practical HR guidance in line with employment legislation and company policies
- Maintaining accurate and confidential HR records
- Supporting the wider HR team with general HR activities as required
About You:
- Previous experience within an HR Advisor or similar HR generalist role
- Strong employee relations and case management experience
- Confident dealing with both low-level and complex HR matters
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Able to work independently and quickly build effective working relationships
- Enhanced DBS certificate required
