- Based across the UK - Head Office Nottingham
- Up to £50,000 + Bonus + Car or Car allowance

This is a fully field-based position with only occasional visits to the Nottingham based office, typically once every two weeks.
The role would ideally suit someone based in the Midlands, allowing easy access to customers across the UK.
It is perfect for someone with experience selling physical products rather than services, who enjoys building long-term customer relationships and developing new business opportunities.
Working closely with the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of new and existing accounts nationwide.
You will identify new business opportunities, negotiate commercial agreements and build strong, lasting partnerships that drive sustainable sales growth.
You will also create and deliver joint business plans, analyse customer performance and market trends, and develop tailored account strategies to maximise revenue, profitability and customer retention.
Taking ownership of your sales and margin targets, you'll represent the business in the field, providing outstanding customer service while helping to grow the company's presence across the UK.
- Job Responsibilities
- Build and develop strong, long-term relationships with key customer accounts
- Identify and win new business opportunities while growing existing accounts
- Lead commercial negotiations and agree mutually beneficial trading terms
- Work closely with the marketing and internal sales teams to plan and deliver promotional campaigns
- Manage account pricing, margins and retail positioning, ensuring all pricing changes are approved and communicated effectively
- Drive sales growth and maximise the performance of your customer portfolio
- Take ownership of sales, margin and budget targets for your accounts
- Analyse sales data, product performance and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and increased profitability
- Develop account-specific strategies, promotional plans and product ranges to meet customer needs while avoiding pricing conflicts
- Create and deliver tailored business plans aligned with the company's overall sales strategy
- Provide regular updates on account performance, highlighting opportunities, risks and proposed solutions
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the commercial team to ensure customers receive the highest level of service
- Produce accurate monthly sales forecasts to support stock planning and customer demand
- Support and mentor Internal Account Managers, sharing knowledge and best practice
- Resolve customer queries and commercial issues quickly, maintaining excellent customer relationships at all times
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the sales function and support the wider business in achieving its long-term objectives

- Highly motivated and results driven
- Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and presentational
- An analytical mind with the ability to interpret numbers into meaningful data and draw conclusions
- High level of Excel skills required
- Proficient in Word and Power Point
- Proven success in a similar role
- Confident negotiator with ability to "close the deal"
- Ability to self-manage own workload to tight deadlines, including balancing, planning and organising multiple tasks simultaneously
- The ability to pull together/influence internal colleagues to support the Account
- Adaptable and flexible
- Knowledge and experience in the kitchen appliance industry would be beneficial but not essential
