With a tight-knit team of talented developers and a collaborative, forward-thinking culture, this business is on an exciting growth journey. They are now seeking a confident, proactive and communicative Personal Assistant to become the right hand to their Directors — playing a vital role in keeping the team aligned, the projects on track, and operations running seamlessly.
About the Role
This is a newly created, high-impact role, perfect for someone who thrives on variety, thrives in a people-first environment, and is eager to be part of a close, high-performing team. You’ll support the Directors with day-to-day operations, internal coordination, and client communications — acting as a central point of contact across the business. The role is primarily home-based, with one in-person working day per week where the team comes together in a Derbyshire hotel setting for collaboration, networking and planning (breakfast is on them!).
Key Responsibilities

- Own and manage Directors’ diaries, inboxes, and general communications
- Lead daily online team stand-ups, setting agendas and confirming next steps
- Facilitate weekly team meetings and step in to lead when Directors are unavailable
- Act as a communication hub between the Directors, staff, and clients
- Check in with team members regularly to monitor workload and morale
- Maintain clear and up-to-date internal documentation and process notes
- Work closely with the technical leads to monitor project timelines and workflow
- Maintain the project pipeline, ensuring consistent updates and accountability
- Use internal messaging platforms (e.g. Slack) to support cross-team communication (training provided)
- Coordinate progress reporting and assist in refining processes where needed
- Arrange logistics for meetings, events, and client sessions
- Provide general administrative assistance including digital filing, travel bookings and ad hoc support
- Support with client engagement activity, such as check-ins, feedback and scheduling
About You
We’re looking for someone who will speak up, get stuck in, and keep things moving. You’ll need to be comfortable interacting with everyone from developers to Directors, as well as clients, and have the natural confidence to take initiative and make things happen.
Essential:
- Previous experience in a PA, EA or similar high-level administrative role
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Exceptionally organised, structured and detail-driven
- Proactive, personable and able to manage priorities independently
- Comfortable with learning new systems – a positive attitude goes further than experience here!
- A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
Desirable:
- Background in a tech or digital environment
- Familiarity with remote working tools or agile/project delivery frameworks
