The Role
This role is to provide accurate and efficient typing and document preparation services to support the smooth operation of the organisation. You will be responsible for producing, formatting and proofreading a variety of documents, such as correspondence, reports and records ensuring all work meets quality, confidentiality, and timeliness standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Type and format a variety of documents such as letters, reports, meeting minutes and forms
- Ensure all typed materials are accurate, well-presented and free from grammatical or typographical errors
- Transcribe handwritten notes, audio recordings or dictated materials into electronic documents
- Maintain and organise digital and paper files for easy retrieval and reference
- Proofread and edit documents to ensure clarity, consistency and compliance with organisational standards
- Input and update data into databases, spreadsheets or other information management systems
- Handle confidential information with discretion and adhere to data protection policies
- Manage correspondence by preparing outgoing mail and sorting incoming documents
- Support administrative staff with document related tasks and general clerical duties as required
