Are you highly organised with experience in stock control, inventory management or logistics?
We are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, family-run business with years of history.
This is a varied role with a strong focus on stock, inventory, forecasting and business operations.
Working closely with the Director of Finance and supporting the wider business, you will play an important role in ensuring stock levels are accurately managed and business data is monitored and analysed.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include
- Managing and monitoring stock and inventory levels
- Supporting with stock forecasting and planning
- Analysing stock data and identifying trends
- Producing reports using Excel
- Supporting with inventory control and stock management processes
- Liaising with suppliers and supporting procurement activity
- Supporting with logistics and the movement of stock
- Assisting with forecasting and wider operational planning
- Maintaining accurate records and data
- Supporting the wider business with administration and commercial activities as required
- The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is organised, analytical and enjoys working with data.
Ideally, you will have experience in
- Stock control or inventory management
- Logistics or supply chain administration
- Procurement or supplier management
- Forecasting and planning
- Strong Excel skills
- Data analysis and reporting
- Working with stock management or inventory systems
Experience with Xero or stock management systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
