Warehouse Operative NG16, Nottingham Salary - £25,272 Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm Permanent opportunity Looking for someone to start asap Role Purpose Responsible for accurately packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch within a busy warehouse environment. Ensuring products are correctly packaged, labelled and ready for delivery while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency. The role will mainly focus on packing duties, although occasional support with picking orders may be required to meet business needs and daily targets. Role Duties * Pack customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring products are ready for dispatch * Check products for damage and ensure orders are complete and correct * Package and label goods correctly, following company procedures * Ensure orders are packed securely to prevent damage during delivery * Work towards daily packing targets and deadlines * Occasionally assist with picking products from warehouse locations when required * Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working area * Follow all health and safety procedures within the warehouse * Report any damaged, missing or incorrect products to supervisors * Work as part of a team to ensure customer orders are completed on time * Assist with other general warehouse duties when required Skills Required * Good attention to detail * Able to work in a busy warehouse * Good timekeeping and reliability * Able to work towards daily targets * Good teamwork and communication skills * Able to follow instructions * Basic reading and counting skills * Comfortable with standing and lifting throughout the day * Willing to help with picking when needed * Previous warehouse experience helpful but not essential
