Position Summary
- Full Time Chef at Rush Court Care Home
- Hourly Rate: £17.16 + benefits
- Permanent – 40 hours a week
- Location: Shillingford Road, Wallingford, 0X108LL
About the Role
Our Rush Court Home is an elegant, Queen Anne style house standing in its own grounds amidst the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside just outside Wallingford. It offers outstanding levels of residential and nursing care and a warm welcome for all.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist the Hotel Services Manager in the provision and maintenance of a high quality, nutritionally balanced, and well-presented food service.
- Prepare and cook food following menus prepared by the Hotel Services Manager.
- Supervise and support employees in catering duties.
- Check kitchen supplies comply with stock control systems and maintain accurate records as required.
- Ensure the safe storage of all foodstuffs, comply with stock rotation procedures, and use supplies economically.
Prior experience in a care home is desirable.
