About The Role
Join our team as Deputy Manager and help us deliver exceptional care in a welcoming, supportive environment. You’ll assist the General Manager in running the home smoothly, efficiently, and cost-effectively, deputising when required and leading on clinical and care matters. This role requires the candidate to be a Registered General Nurse, or a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management, or an equivalent qualification, or a higher qualification such as a degree/post graduate degree in health and social care is desirable.
- Be a Registered General Nurse, or a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
- Experience of managing a successful department for older people.
- Experience of working in a care home environment and delivering high quality services to older people.
- Experience of leading and motivating a diverse group of employees to align around shared aims and objectives.
- Ability to use a range of IT systems including MS Office and databases to collate, analyse and report on data to a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate information clearly to a wide range of stakeholders including residents & their families, employees and medical professionals verbally and in writing.
- Willingness to co-design and co-deliver a range of promotions and approaches to increase the visibility, engagement and occupancy of the home with potential residents.
- Knowledge of good clinical and quality care practice as it relates to older people.
