About the Role
We have a dedicated and well-trained team providing an excellent standard of person-centred care for our residents. As a Social Events Coordinator joining our large, diverse team who are proud of the difference we make to our residents you will:
- Encourage and motivate colleagues to interact with residents, bringing the outside community to life in their discussions whilst going about their everyday activities.
- Frequently meet individual residents to establish their interests and consider how these can be supported.
- Ensure our residents’ experience is one where they feel they matter, are understood, listened to and able to make their own decisions.
- Support the organisation of a variety of external activities or visits to places of interest.
- Facilitate residents forming their own social groups and special interest groups.
- Promote independence and enhance the quality of life for all residents by assessing individual interests and encouraging these.
- Motivate colleagues to engage with residents on a social level to support a fulfilled life experience for the individual.
Prior experience is desirable but not needed, as we will give you all the training you need to be successful in this role.
