Job Summary:
The E-commerce Business Development Manager will play an integral role in driving Elizabeth Arden’s E-commerce business strategy across the Prestige Division. You will support the Digital Sales Team with day to day account management, reporting and planning for pure player retailers such as Amazon, The Hut Group and Cult Beauty. This role will collaborate and work with the brand, e-commerce, sales and customer service teams to ensure sales targets are achieved and KPIs exceeded for each online pure player.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as one of the key internal points of contact between Elizabeth Arden and Amazon.
- Participating in weekly meetings with Amazon to align on short-term and long-term action plans.
- Building ad hoc and monthly Amazon sales & marketing reports to be shared with the wider business.
- Managing and facilitating ad hoc supply chain, new line setup and compliance.
- Reporting on E-commerce sales in internal meetings.
- Assisting in the preparation of materials and attendance to retailer strategy meetings.
- Launching and managing Amazon Advertising campaigns through the AMS platform.
- Planning Amazon marketing activities utilising Amazon accrued marketing budget.
- Owning and monitoring marketing budget to ensure visibility on Pureplayer websites through CRM, social media, homepage activity, loyalty programmes, GWPs and other promotional offers.
- Ensuring brand pages and PDPs are up to date with relevant content.
- Creative management - Ensure assets are available across site & marketing channels for launches, merchandising imagery, events, marketing assets.
- Managing joint business plans with other Pureplayers.
- Curating the product portfolio expansion, determining the assortment of new products on each retailer and creating / submitting new line forms.
- Maintaining and leveraging strong relationships with retailers.
- Building virtual bundles; creating / supporting creation of promotional mechanics.
- Assisting SNAMs with adhoc sales exercises.
Preferred & Required Skills:
- 3-5 years’ experience working on E-Commerce accounts e.g. Amazon, THG, Asos.
- Previous experience working on the Amazon account is essential.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset – able to take insights from analytics platforms and report, present and propose actions.
- Experience of managing budgets, trading calendars, sales forecasts and marketing channel traffic overviews.
- Experience with creating artwork, updating PDPs, managing brand pages.
- Attention to detail.
- Comfortable challenging the status-quo and offering new ideas.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and systematic in approach to work.
- Competency with all Windows software e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, One Drive.
