ABOUT ELIXIRR: Elixirr International plc is a global consulting firm with a bold ambition: to become the best consulting firm in the world. Founded in 2009 to challenge a declining industry standard, we’ve grown from a single vision into a powerhouse of entrepreneurial talent, delivering boardroom strategy through to execution. After IPO-ing on AIM in July 2020, Elixirr moved to the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange in July 2025. In that time, our market cap has grown from £98 million to over £350 million – a testament to our differentiated approach and relentless pursuit of excellence. With a presence across the UK, US, EU, and South Africa, and a client base spanning industries and geographies, we’ve welcomed seven boutique firms into the Group. This has broadened our capabilities across creative, digital marketing, data and AI, procurement, transformation, and more. Our vision of becoming a services unicorn is firmly within reach – and this is just the beginning. We’re looking for exceptional talent to join us on this exciting growth journey and shape the future of consulting.

LOCATION: Our office is located in Colchester. It’s one of the homes to our growing digital marketing team working on global brands.

JOB SUMMARY: The role of the Digital Marketing Strategy Consultant is to help clients solve marketing and growth challenges through a combination of digital marketing expertise, commercial awareness and practical problem solving. Working across a range of sectors, clients and project types, the consultant is responsible for researching and understanding client challenges, creating clear strategic recommendations, facilitating stakeholder engagement and helping clients turn strategy into measurable business outcomes. This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working in complex and fast-moving environments. Depending on the nature of the engagement, consultants may operate as strategic advisors, embedded members of a client's team, or a combination of both. Successful consultants are comfortable adapting their approach, from facilitating workshops and developing strategic recommendations through to working closely with client stakeholders to drive change, create momentum and deliver outcomes. They are able to combine broad digital marketing knowledge with strong consulting skills to create clarity, influence decision-making and deliver value for clients.

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Client Strategy & Consulting: Lead and support the development of digital marketing and growth strategies for clients. Research client challenges through market, customer, stakeholder and performance analysis. Translate complex business challenges into clear recommendations, plans and priorities. Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews and strategic planning sessions. Present findings, recommendations and strategic roadmaps to client stakeholders. Support the implementation of strategic recommendations and monitor outcomes.
  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders at all levels. Act as a strategic advisor, providing guidance and challenge where appropriate. Influence decision-making and build alignment across multiple stakeholder groups. Create confidence and momentum within client engagements, particularly where objectives or requirements are unclear. Support client retention and long-term relationship growth.
  • Commercial Growth: Identify opportunities to create additional value for clients. Spot opportunities to extend engagements or introduce additional services where appropriate. Contribute to new business opportunities, proposals and pitches. Support wider business growth through thought leadership, market insight and innovation.
  • Internal Contribution: Collaborate with channel specialists and wider delivery teams to ensure successful execution of recommendations. Contribute to the evolution of the team's consulting, strategy and AI capabilities. Stay informed on developments across digital marketing, technology, analytics, AI and customer experience.

Essential skills:

  • 5+ years' experience in digital marketing, strategy, consulting or a related discipline.
  • Broad understanding of key digital marketing disciplines including SEO, PPC, CRM, analytics, CRO, content and paid media.
  • Experience developing and presenting strategic recommendations to clients or senior stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information into clear, persuasive narratives and executive-level recommendations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to structure complex or ambiguous challenges.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how marketing activity creates business value.
  • Ability to learn quickly and operate effectively in unfamiliar environments.

Success in this role looks like:

  • Creating clarity and direction in situations where the path forward is not immediately obvious.
  • Building trusted relationships with clients and becoming a valued strategic advisor.
  • Turning digital marketing opportunities into measurable business outcomes.
  • Influencing stakeholders and driving action without relying on formal authority.
  • Learning quickly and becoming credible in new industries, technologies and business challenges.
  • Identifying opportunities that create value for both clients and Elixirr Digital.
  • Supporting and elevating the people around you through collaboration and coaching.
  • Adapting effectively between advisory, consulting and embedded client-side roles depending on the needs of the engagement.
