Elixir Consulting Ltd is the independent UK agent for Technoclone GmbH, a Vienna-based manufacturer of specialist blood-clotting diagnostics. We're the UK point of contact for the NHS, pharma and university labs that rely on these tests. We look after the relationships and the coordination on the ground. Their range covers Ceveron analysers, TECHNOZYM ELISA kits, control and reference plasmas, ADAMTS-13 and other specialist clotting-factor assays.
This is a real trainee role, and it has three priorities, in order:
- Keep the operation tidy: prepare quotes, log every customer interaction, track service cases and contract renewals, and chase outstanding invoices politely.
- Own the relationships: reply to customers, revive threads that have gone quiet, and grow into looking after a region of your own.
- Open new doors: engage with labs we haven't heard from in a while.
You'll work alongside NHS lab scientists and lab managers, the Vienna team, and the Sales Director as your manager and trainer. No diagnostics experience needed; training will be provided over a structured 12-week ramp. What I'm after is someone curious about the science, organised by instinct, and careful with the written word. A 2:1 or above in a life-science subject sits naturally here, biomedical science especially, though a sharp, organised generalist gets the same consideration. Whether you're early in your working life or moving across from another field, all applicants are welcome.
The role is remote-first and UK-wide, with roughly monthly travel to customer labs. You'll need the right to work in the UK, so please confirm that when you apply.
On benefits, there's a car allowance, a company laptop and phone, and a meal allowance for the days you're out visiting labs. You'll also get 28 days' holiday, bank holidays included, and a workplace pension.
To apply, use the Apply button on this post. Reasonable adjustments to the process can be made, so just tell me what would help. Closing date is Friday 10 July 2026.
