Due to continued growth, my client is looking to recruit a Food Technologist to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and improving existing recipes, developing innovative new concepts, and refreshing and optimising existing products. You will also trial new ingredients, support product launches, and monitor products post-launch to evaluate performance and customer feedback.
You will work closely with Suppliers and the Head of Technical, playing a key role in supporting NPD projects and ensuring all product files and documentation are accurately maintained. The company is a highly successful and well-established manufacturer at the forefront of its sector, continuing to expand across all departments. You will be joining a growing, experienced, and supportive team within a business that prides itself on staff retention, development, and career progression.
The Role:
- Support the launch of new products
- Ensure all raw material and finished product specifications remain current and are reviewed whenever recipes, legislation or supplier information changes
- Prepare, review and update finished product specifications, ensuring they are completed accurately and within customer deadlines
