Are you a service engineer with experience with Dock Levellers, looking for a role which offers progression? This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and expanding company offering a home-based role, regular overtime, training, and genuine day-to-day variety.
The company is a national leader in waste handling and loading bay equipment; due to securing new long-term contracts, they are expanding their operations across key regions. The role involves servicing dock levellers and working on industrial balers and compactors as part of critical loading bay infrastructure. Crucially, we are seeking a candidate with a background in working with dock levellers. While training on this specific machinery will be provided, prior experience with dock levellers is essential for this regional expansion.
The Role
- Service Engineer for Dock Levellers
- Covering South Wales (Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, and surrounding areas)
- Monday to Friday – 50 hours (Guaranteed 50 hours pay even if you only worked 45)
- Overtime is time and a half
- 1 in 7 on-call rota (£700)
Candidate Requirements
- Background working with dock levellers is essential
- Electrical skills – Good
- Mechanical and hydraulic skills – Average
- Must live within South Wales or a reasonable travelling distance of the M4 corridor
- Driving licence
- Beneficial if you have experience of balers and compactors, but not essential
