Are you experienced in mechanical, electrical or electronic assembly looking to be part of a growing, niche and supportive business? Are you confident in using hand tools and reading technical drawings?

Location: Towcester (Commutable from Milton Keynes, Daventry, Silverstone, and Northampton)

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 DOE

Working Hours: Monday to Friday days

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing instrument design and manufacturing business in a varied, hands-on engineering role. You'll work within the production team and will play a key part in the careful assembly and shipping of our precision component products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical components and electronic assemblies to required specifications
  • Carry out soldering and other basic electrical assembly tasks
  • Work closely with colleagues across the production process to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Complete and maintain accurate production records and test results
  • Carry out basic testing and quality checks on completed products
  • Prepare and pack finished products for distribution
  • Use a range of hand tools, equipment and production aids
  • Follow established processes, procedures and health & safety requirements

The Candidate:

  • Has previous experience with soldering, electrical assembly or similar practical work
  • Has a good eye for detail and takes pride in producing high-quality work
  • Is comfortable using computers, including email and basic Excel
  • Has an interest in engineering, manufacturing or technical production
