Are you a Warhammer painter, scale-model builder, prop maker, or airbrush hobbyist looking to turn your passion into a high-paying career? Our client designs and manufactures bespoke, ultra-luxury fixtures and fittings for some of the world's most exclusive private residences and luxury hotels. They craft high-end, detailed pieces that require an artist's touch.
Due to growth, they are looking for someone with an exceptional eye for detail to join their Wimbledon workshop. If you spend your weekends carefully painting miniatures, airbrushing small components, or prepping fine surfaces, your skills are highly transferable, and we want to hear from you. Full training on industrial specialist coatings and faux finishes will be provided.
What you'll be doing:
- Precision Spraying & Coating: Using airbrushes or small gravity-fed spray guns to apply flawless finishes to small metal components and fixtures.
- Fine Detail Work: Preparing surfaces, masking, and applying high-end finishes (including custom faux effects) to a luxury standard.
- Bench-Based Assembly: Working at your own dedicated station as part of a small, supportive team of makers.
- Collaborating: Sharing tips with the team, helping onboard new starters as you grow, and occasionally assisting with showing off finished pieces.
What we are looking for:
- The "Steady Hand": You have experience using small spray/coating guns, airbrushes, or advanced paintbrush techniques on small areas (metals, plastics, or resins).
- An Eye for Perfection: You genuinely care about the final product and notice the tiny flaws that others miss.
- A Willingness to Learn: You don't need industrial experience; you just need a positive, problem-solving mindset and a basic awareness of workshop safety.
Why apply?
- Turn your hobby into a career: Get paid £30k-£35k to do what you love, using premium tools and materials.
- Great Hours: A steady Monday to Friday routine (8am - 4pm) with your weekends completely free.
- Perks: A guaranteed Christmas shutdown so you can relax over the holidays.
