The Company

We are supporting a global engineering consultancy delivering complex programmes across the aerospace, defence, space, and advanced manufacturing sectors. Working in partnership with a key customer in Portsmouth, they are focused on improving manufacturing performance within a regulated environment. Due to continued demand and ongoing improvement projects, they are now looking to appoint a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to support a critical on-site recovery programme.

The Role

You will be embedded within a high-reliability manufacturing environment, taking responsibility for driving Quality. The role will focus on reducing non-conformances, improving process control, and strengthening quality culture across engineering and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Support NC management and quality processes
  • Carry out root cause analysis (8D, 5 Whys, RCCA)
  • Ensure compliance with build and quality standards

Requirements

  • Experience as a Quality or Manufacturing Engineer in aerospace, defence, or similar sector
  • Experience in high-reliability manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of quality and compliance standards
