Do you have strong communication, hand tools & mechanical experience? Are you able to read engineering drawings? Do you want a new role within an industry leading manufacturing company who can provide first class training and development to move you into a technical support role?
Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a mechanical fitter to join the team at their state of the art facility near Pocklington. The successful applicant will come from an assembly/mechanical engineering background and will have access to an excellent in house training platform. Once trained you will be able to inspect & sign off finished machinery, report back any potential quality issues and work with the engineering teams to implement potential changes. You will also become a technical point of contact for customers, understanding the products so that you can understand enquiries and provide possible solutions & support.
