Monday – Thursday, 08:00–16:30, Friday, 08:00–15:15

Do you have strong communication, hand tools & mechanical experience? Are you able to read engineering drawings? Do you want a new role within an industry‑leading manufacturing company that can provide first‑class training and development to move you into a technical support role?

Due to continued growth, the company is looking for a mechanical fitter to join the team at their state‑of‑the‑art facility near Pocklington. The successful applicant will come from an assembly/mechanical engineering background and will have access to an excellent in‑house training platform.

Once trained you will be able to inspect and sign off finished machinery, report any potential quality issues, and work with the engineering teams to implement potential changes. You will also become a technical point of contact for customers, understanding the products so that you can handle enquiries and provide possible solutions and support.
