Service Engineer - Progression to Team Leader

£40,000 - £45,000 + Overtime + Training + Progression + Van

Do you have an electrical background and like visiting different customer sites each day? Is the future prospect of moving into a team lead role, having training on things like hydraulics and regular overtime appealing?

The company is a national business involved in waste handling and loading bay equipment. Due to winning new long-term contracts, they are looking to expand their operation in key areas of the UK.

The role involves servicing waste handling equipment including balers and compactors through to loading bay equipment such as dock levellers and scissor lifts. You will be provided with training on the specific equipment if you don't already have it.

This is a great chance to join an expanding company during an exciting period of growth for the firm.

The Role

  • Service Engineer - Progression to Team Leader
  • Covering the southern half of the UK
  • Monday to Friday - 50 hours (Guaranteed 50 hours pay even if you only work 45)
  • Overtime is time and a half
  • 1 in 7 on call rota (£700)

Candidate Requirements

  • Electrical skills - Good on wiring and fault finding
  • Driving License
  • Beneficial if you have experience of balers, compactors, loading bay equipment, scissor lifts or similar
