Do you have estimation experience within a fabrication or steel environment? Are you looking for an exciting new role within an industry leading engineering group who pride themselves on excellent training and staff retention?

Due to continued growth, my client is looking for an estimator to join the team at their state of the art facility in Hull. The successful applicant will be working with multiple teams on site including design, engineering, external suppliers and sales to provide quick and accurate project quotations. This role will enable you to be customer facing and a key point of contact within the business once full training has been given by the senior team. The training will enable you to fully understand company processes, designs, projects and customers so that you can calculate material costs, working hours, any potential issues and design timelines.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an industry leading group who have been at the forefront of their industry for over 15 years! Supply into a range of customers within the automotive, construction and energy sectors this is an amazing management challenge for someone with fabrication knowledge.

The Role:

  • Working with a variety of internal teams

  • Creating accurate quotes for customers calculating designs, materials, labour & external parts

The Candidate:

  • Experience within a steel or fabrication environment
  • An understanding of fabrication costings, processes and customers
  • A commutable distance to Hull
