Our client is looking for a Production Supervisor to lead a team of up to 15 people across 2-3 production lines, ensuring production targets, quality and safety standards are consistently met. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong people management experience who is looking to take the next step in their career, with progression available for the right person.
The Role:
- Supervising up to 15 employees across multiple production lines
- Ensuring daily production targets and KPIs are achieved
- Managing team performance, attendance and holiday cover
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and quality
- Ensuring procedures and production standards are followed
- Supporting training and development of team members
- Working closely with Quality and other departments
- Identifying issues and driving continuous improvement
- Using production data to improve efficiency and performance
The Candidate:
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience
- Production or manufacturing background
- Food/FMCG manufacturing experience is highly desirable
- Confident making decisions and managing a busy team
- Understanding of health, safety and quality standards
- LEAN/continuous improvement knowledge advantageous
