Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Produce concepts, 3D CAD models, and detail drawings for steel structures, sheet metal work, and mechanisms using SolidWorks.
- Carry out technical calculations to justify designs, ensure structural integrity, and validate decision-making.
- Lead design aspects of new product development, ensuring all products comply with strict legislative, safety, and goods vehicle criteria.
- Provide clear technical guidance to manufacturing, procurement, and commercial teams to achieve required specifications at best cost.
- Design and integrate ancillary systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrics.
What We're Looking For
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
